As for the picture itself: very endearing. I like how you made use of the lighting effects as well as the different poses you drew the characters in. AJ's buried further into the blanket and his her eyes lowered, while Dash is still sitting upright with a bright look on her face. I suppose that she's the less tired of the two. It's little details like that I appreciate in drawing characters.

Also your style seems to be evolving from your earlier pieces. The figures seem a bit more simplified, with larger eyes and simplified irises. And the lines have gotten looser and a little more lively.
