As for the picture itself: very endearing. I like how you made use of the lighting effects as well as the different poses you drew the characters in. AJ's buried further into the blanket and his her eyes lowered, while Dash is still sitting upright with a bright look on her face. I suppose that she's the less tired of the two. It's little details like that I appreciate in drawing characters.
Also your style seems to be evolving from your earlier pieces. The figures seem a bit more simplified, with larger eyes and simplified irises. And the lines have gotten looser and a little more lively.
I feel like I always see you complaining about lentoto's art. What is your damage? Is every popular ship (for any fandom) overused and too mainstream for you? Should everyone just support crack ships?
And newsflash: Every pony in the show is depicted as a lesbian in fanworks. I suspect this is because there aren't enough interesting male characters on the show and the majority of interactions are between female characters. The reason why AJ/RD is a popular ship ("overused" in your words) is because they're good friends and are seen interacting a lot in the show --not simply because they don't fit the female stereotype.
They interact a lot in the show? More so than other characters? Are you sure? Well I still think it's a bit sexist when someone says the two most masculine female characters are lesbians. Just like saying the two most feminine male characters are gay.
I'm not complaining about Lentoto's art. I'm complaining about life in general. Have you watched the news?
I grok the stereotype part, but is "sexist" the right adjective to use? As I understand 'sexism' refers the notion that certain characteristics attributed to one's gender affects one abilities in different areas.
